Syracuse University grants transfer credit for courses successfully completed at other accredited institutions or through means described in the Academic Rules and Regulations section of the Syracuse University Bulletin: Undergraduate Course Catalog. In general, transfer credit is allowed for courses worth three or more credits where you earned a “C” (2.0) or higher and for which there is a comparable course offered at SU. Transfer credit is evaluated after you are admitted, and generally, notification of approved credit is sent within two weeks. You may then use your credit evaluation to inform your decision of whether or not to commit to enrolling at Syracuse University.
