Own the Dome

Sunday, April 13

Attend an event like no other – spend the night in the Carrier Dome!  Join other admitted students for a night of fun (and maybe some sleep!) before the Spring Reception on April 14.  The night will include a picnic dinner, student performances, and activities that are perfect for getting to know your future classmates.  In the morning you’ll reconnect with your family to attend the Spring Reception.

Please note: registration for Own the Dome and the Parents Dinner is at capacity and no additional registrations will be accepted.

  • Monday–Friday at 10:30 a.m.
  • Saturdays at 10:30 a.m.
  • Campus tours: 9:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. (2:00 p.m. Monday–Friday only)

Note: Information programs are not offered on April 7, 11, 14, 21, and 23 due to Spring Receptions and Spring Campus Day.  The Office of Admissions is closed on Saturday, April 19 for the Easter holiday weekend.

Special Event: Engineering and Computer Science Open House

Saturday, April 12

The College of Engineering and Computer Science is hosting its annual Open House on Saturday, April 12.  The program will include an Engineering & Computer Science presentation, with a discussion of academic majors, student support, student activities, study abroad, and co-op and career placement.  Admitted students and their families will also meet with Engineering & Computer Science faculty to learn more about the specific major(s) and curricula that most interest them.  Students will also have the opportunity to visit Engineering labs to see/hear projects/research with which our students and faculty are engaged in our labs.  We have a fun lunch on the Quad as well as residence hall and campus tours.  The time frame for the Open House is 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  The complete schedule and online registration will be available soon at
