You’ll test your knowledge in real-world challenges, from required internships or managing the $3.8 million value-oriented mutual fund, to presenting your business plan for a startup company to a panel of entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and bankers.
Your professional education will start your first year, allowing you to be well-prepared to compete for an internship early in your college career. You’ll also gain experience through two programs unmatched by other business schools: the IMPRESS Program and Consurtio.

Dual Major Programs
Dual major programs with S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the School of Information Studies (iSchool) are available. This allows you to complete the requirements of two schools’ majors within four years, such as a dual major in advertising through the Newhouse School and marketing at the Whitman School. The new Whitman School and College of Law 3+3 joint degree program allows students to complete their B.S. and J.D. in six years.
Internships and Placement
All Whitman students are required to complete a minimum of one internship prior to graduation. To assist you, Whitman has an eight-person dedicated career center.
For May 2015 Whitman graduates, 85 percent of those seeking a job were placed within 90 days of graduation** with an average salary of $53,425. An additional 11 percent of our total senior class went on to graduate school.
