The Orange is in the Big Apple!  Syracuse University maintains an office in New York City for the convenience of prospective students and alumni in the metropolitan area.  Throughout the year, you may have the opportunity to meet SU at Lubin House for:

  • information sessions
  • personal interviews
  • portfolio reviews and auditions
  • admitted student programs

Interested in a specific academic area or still undecided? Come and hear from staff and faculty from your school or college of interest about academic programs, internship opportunities, student organizations and more. Online registration will be available here soon.

The following programs will be held at Lubin House:

College of Arts and Sciences: Wednesday, October 15, 6:30 – 8 p.m.

School of Education: Monday, October 20, 6:30 – 8 p.m.

College of Engineering and Computer Science: Tuesday, October 21, 6:30 – 8 p.m.

Falk College for Sport and Human Dynamics: Saturday, October 18, 10 a.m. – Noon

School of Information Studies (iSchool): Sunday, October 19, 3-5 p.m.

Newhouse School of Public Communications: Saturday, October 18, 2-4 p.m. or 6-8 p.m.

Whitman School of Management: Sunday, October 19, 4-6 p.m.

College of Visual and Performing Arts: Thursday, October 16, 6-8 p.m.

The following program will be held at the Fisher Center (Madison Avenue and 31st Street):

School of Architecture: Saturday, November 15 10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Personal Interviews

Syracuse University offers personal interviews for high school seniors and prospective transfer students.  An interview is not required, but it offers an opportunity to talk directly with a representative of the Office of Admissions to share goals, interests, and academic information.  Interviews are available early fall through mid-December and must be scheduled in advance by calling 212.826.0335.

Financial aid workshops coming in January

Let us help you fill out your financial aid applications. These workshops provide financial aid information and assist you in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE. Registration will be available later this fall. Workshops are scheduled for the following days:
