One of the best ways to get a feel for Syracuse University is to visit. The Office of Admissions welcomes visitors throughout the year with weekday campus visits, Syracuse Saturdays, and Orange Previews. Please register in advance of your visit to Syracuse.
All visit options are appropriate for high school students (all grades levels), transfer students, and family members.
WEEKDAY CAMPUS VISITS
Weekday campus visits give students an overview of the University’s offerings and campus experience.
Duration: Three hours total (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.)
Includes: Information session, campus tour and academic area visits. (Residence halls are not a part of weekday campus visits.)
9:00 – 9:30: Information Session
9:30 – 11:00: Campus Tour
11:00 – 12:00: Academic Area Visits
Offered: Monday through Friday at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
- Syracuse University’s colleges offer sessions specific to academic interest areas at the conclusion of the tour. Please note the School of Architecture’s session is daily at 10 a.m.
Syracuse Saturdays give students an overview of the University’s offerings and campus experience.
Duration: 9:15-11 a.m.
Includes: Information session hosted by an admissions officer, faculty, and students, and campus tour (Residence halls are not a part of Syracuse Saturdays.)

Orange Preview is Syracuse’s open house program for prospective first year and transfer students.
Duration: Full day (8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. )
Includes: Information sessions on academic opportunities, lunch on campus, and tours of the campus and residence halls.
