As the days continue to pass before my eyes, I realized when I woke up this morning that we’ve already been back at school for 2 weeks now! Crazy.
But it’s time, before it gets too late, to learn about the hundreds of clubs, sports and other activities that we house on campus. Clubs and sports are a great way to make new friends while partaking in something that you enjoy and oh yeah, it’s also a great way to relieve the stress of classes and life!
In fact, this week SU Rec Services is offering a wide range of free fitness classes to students and faculty so YOU can get a feel for the different options accessible. http://recreationservices.syr.edu/programs/fitness-classes/
Last night, my roommate (in the picture above) and I tried a spinning class at Archbold and it was great. From the upbeat instructor (which is a key component in a GOOD spin class) to the music we rode to and the new friend I made on the bike next to me, I’m hooked!
Don’t worry if you’re not a spinner though, first off, many people were new to the exercise and happily learning, but there are so many other different types of classes to choose from. You’ll find your favorite, but this is the week to try!
If you’re not into working out, check out the sports and other activity clubs on campus, too! http://recreationservices.syr.edu/programs/sport-clubs.html
