At Syracuse University, the entire student body, alumni, professors, staff, and administrators pride ourselves on the success of our Athletic Department. Last year, the Orange had four teams in different NCAA Final Four Tournaments (Women’s Lacrosse, Women’s Field Hockey, Men’s Lacrosse, Men’s Basketball). This past week, Syracuse Football hosted Tulane in the Carrier Dome as they cruised to a record of 2-2, beating Tulane 52-17. Not only was this win a great win for the school as they get set to host their first ACC opponent in the Dome, Clemson, but this win was a historic win for Syracuse University. Saturday’s win against Tulane was the 700th victory in Syracuse Football history; a record that only 15 other Football Bowl Subdivision schools have reached! Gameday in the Carrier Dome is special for any sport, whether it’s football, basketball, or lacrosse, but being a part of history in the Dome is what makes it even more special! Anyone associated with Syracuse University, “Bleeds Orange”, but the experience you get in attending all the games at the Carrier Dome, is unlike any other University fan atmosphere in the country! Not only is the Carrier Dome the largest domed stadium of any college or university, but it’s also the largest on-campus basketball arena in the country; they don’t call it “The Loud House” for nothing!
