First, you’ll discover how sight, sound, and motion can be combined to tell the stories that keep us entertained. Later, you’ll channel your studies into a narrower focus that reflects your interests, like screenwriting, producing, or new media entertainment.

You’ll put your learning into practice and gain new experience through local and national internships. The LA Semester provides a unique opportunity to take entertainment industry-related classes in Los Angeles while working as an intern in your field of interest. You’ll work with passionate alumni and attend social events, TV show tapings, awards shows, and screenings.
New television and multimedia studio facilities give you access to cross-disciplinary learning in news, film, visual effects, set augmentation, and more. Resources like the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture and Orange Television Network enhance your education and experience.
